In the last day of our white week in Neustift we found this restaurant, just up the Billa supermarket in the center.
In the menu we found a lot of traditional dishes Austrian and Ungarian and some international.
We took an Austrian soup (the goulash soup seemed also very nice and served in a red traditional pot) and then ordered kasespatzle , grostl and an ungarian plate (betyar- pieces of chicken in a pot with cheese and potatoes).
The lady who served us - we think one of the owner with his husband - said to us that was too much and adviced to have the same courses in the smaller kinder version.
How delicious were the dishes and there were normal size portions.
We finished with an ungarian grape and with a good apfel strudel with vanilla souce, that the lady wanted to offer us. And we paid about 40 euro for both.
Probably is not the most elegant or charming place in Neustift but is the
best for us.
