I frequently use The Crown for overnight stays when on business locally. I find the service is fantastic and always accomodating, the rooms are comfortable, clean and have good air conditioning, the food is plentiful and always tasty and not over priced at all. Good selection of beers/wines as you might want.

Breakfast can alternate between order/self service but always plenty of choice and fresh, never overly busy so plenty of time to relax before the start of your day.

Parking plentiful on site aswell.

We went to see a live band on a packed Friday evening.

Everyone there friendly and in good spirits .. but the standout feature was the bar staff...

The place was heaving but you never waited for more than a few minutes to be served by the young , professional staff who were right on top of everything all night ..such a shock when normally pubs like this have just minimal staff even when they know it’s going to be busy .. the worst for this locally is The Minnow in Weybridge, they never have enough staff , always long waits to be served for drinks and food and hardly ever get the food order right if there’s more than two people !

Whilst staying at the Premier Inn next door, my wife & i (along with our 6 month old) spent every evening in The Crown as it was quiet.
A really genuine friendly welcome from the staff and plenty of banter with the locals.
What I call a real pub so not necessarily for everyone.
Plenty of sport on the many TVs and two bar areas.

we had afternoon tea here as a treat from my daughter, it was fantastic, lovely sandwiches, scones and cakes and little puddings. Beautifully set out, really enjoyable, the staff were very polite. Well done to everyone.

A group of us stayed for one night to attend a friend's party. We were going to get a mini bus home to Kent, but staying overnight proved more economical. We were so glad we chose this option.
The pub and hotel was great. Being cold, the open fire was a treat and we had lunch together after arriving. The staff could not be more accommodating. The rooms were decorated in a welcoming 'New England' style and had comfortable beds, good showers and heating you could easily turn down or up. Also, a 'proper' hairdryer. As a base to explore this part of London it was more than adequate and a very reasonable price. Would recommend. Breakfast was also very good including the veggie option.
