Lovely week in this hotel. Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice. Lovely pool area but very short on sun shades, only 6 for the entire hotel!!!! Bedroom clean but 'freebies' milk coffee etc never replaced, same with shower gel etc.. Disappointed to find it wasn't on the beach, or indeed the lake. Access was across a duel carriage way past villas and appartments.

This was a last minute break. 5 nights half board. The room was very clean and the view was really good. The food was acceptable with breakfast buffet good value. The hotel had a drinks package with meals for €2.5 per person/night which was excellent value, use it to your advantage.a lagoon room has the better view. The sea view can be blocked by the apartment blocks opposite the front of the hotel. There was plenty of space on the beach every day we went there.
There is a local Spar shop around 300mts from the hotel if you need any drinks or snacks. All in all a very good break.

Room Tip: Check into a lagoon view room for best outlook. Balconies have sun in the afternoons.

On the plus side, the hotel was spotless, nice, well proportioned room, the food was the best ever, staff amazingly helpful and friendly. My friend and I go away a lot fully inclusive.
The disappointment was with la manga itself.although very quiet, the whole resort is a strip, dual carriageway that needs to be crossed to access the beach, which is beautifully sandy, but no sunbed s and parasols to hire which was a mystery.
The quieter water behind the hotel is fronted by private residences so there is no beach front or promenade to walk along. You will need a car if you want to visit anywhere.there is a bus that goes up and down but nothing great to see. Went on a long bus trip to Cartengena that was very pretty and had nice shops. Although the hotel was wonderful, the location was not for us.
