We booked this hotel at sudden as we wanted to extend our stay at La Manga. The hotel is looking for some refurbishing as last time that was done lot of years ago. I don't like the gas owen but that's just because i'm not used to it.
Big minus from my side is lack of air condition. If you like it hot, then you're ok, there are ceeling ventilators.
Hotel is at the beach, breakfast is nothing special and pool is ok, but we didn't use it. Who wants to use the pool when there is a beach next to it. Staff is friendly but spanishlly slow :) Parking is there if you're lucky to get one free and wifi is working great in the room.

Room Tip: Check for the room that looks on the park side, not the street side.

Brilliant location set 2 mins away from both the sea and The Mar Menor. The lagoon is a great place to just sit and chill in for a couple of hours a day. My favourite kind of relaxing holiday. And the buses are so cheap up and down the strip, so take a lot of bus trips while you are there! The food is good and plentiful (we went half board and enjoyed everything we had). A holiday to remember - I will be going back! Don't take a taxi from the airport, go down to Ribera, get the ferry and then get a bus - you are talking the difference between a fiver and about fifty quid (of course we had already booked the 2nd option unfortunately!).

Room Tip: Ask for one with a balcony view of both the lagoon and the sea!

Loved it,clean comfortable lovely room right next to the sea.secure car park.very relaxed place.reasonable priced dog friendly our border collie liked the view from the second floor balcony.he hadn't seen palm tree,s before. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine on the evening.the sea was right there perfect for family's with kids shops close by.no need for a hire car you can walk or bus anywhere from this location.you can pay a lot more elsewhere we found it to be good value

The apartment was clean and the beds were clean, it was very basic, no air con, just very poor ceiling fans, air con came at extra cost, it should be standard when temperatures are 30 and above. We could not believe that there was an ancient gas oven in the room, so much for health and safety! La manga resort was ok, but was very smelly at times. Been there, didn't get a t shirt, would not go there again.

Room Tip: The rooms on the front are noisy from traffic and the rooms on the back are noisy from the music in the square, until about 12.30 - 1.00am. Some rooms have air con, but will cost more. We were a party of 3, 2 adults 1 teenager, we only had 1 bedroom and a put me up bed in the lounge which was not very nice.

This hotel is lovely, very Spanish which is what we wanted, the rooms are very comfortable with every convenience, it's an old hotel so a little bit dated but I think it adds to it's charm, very clean and lovely helpful staff, if you want kiss me quick hat's and egg and chips then maybe this is'nt for you.but if you want traditional Spain then you will be happy here.

Room Tip: Lovely views over the med from one side and the la manga strip on the other.
