The hotel was empty when we arrived on the evening of April 11th but we were assigned a first floor room far from the attractive pool and landscaping. The room was large with no frills and a very small shower within the tub. Our 1st floor room had a sliding glass door very close to the road, which didn't feel safe or secure, not to mention having to keep the door closed to avoid the neighbors' cigarette smoke. The room offered no good reading lights. The front desk suggested a “five-minute" walk to the beach and, though we were skeptical, we tried it. After 10 minutes we got a view of a fence topped by a roll of razor wire and a still-distant view of the sea. We had bought a bottle of wine in Cefalu but had a very difficult time convincing the hotel to open it for us or allow us the use of a corkscrew and two wine glasses (in the room were only 2 plastic cups). We stayed here before flying out early the next morning, and turned in the rental car before going to the hotel. That was an expensive mistake! Even though the hotel is fairly close to the airport, the cab driver from the airport to the hotel took us on a goose chase and charged 40€ for the pleasure. The hotel's cab driver charged us €30 the next morning, so effectively we paid two days car rental for a total of 10 miles of transportation (don't turn in the car early). We ate dinner at the hotel. We split an extraordinary appetizer of fresh cuttlefish, and I mean fresh! My husband picked it from a platter of fresh fish and said the eyes hadn't even glazed over. We also picked a sea bream to share. Though the wine and appetizer came within 5-10 minutes of our order, the waiter did not recognize us again for an hour at which time he told us that the sea bream was almost ready. It was over-cooked when it arrived - such a waste of a fish life and our time and money. I speculate that the kitchen first forgot to cook it and then to take it out of the oven. Inexpertly filleted with lots of bones. The cuttlefish salad was so perfect that I hope the sea bream was just our bad luck rather than an indication of a bad restaurant.

Room tip: Ask for a room on the second floor. Don't give up your rental car -- airport taxi is expensive.

We wentto the restaurant for a business dinner! The cuisine is perfect!!! Dont miss the chance to visit the restaurant. Octopus, tuna and local medditerian fosh grilles is outstanding. Selection of wines requires sone understanding of Sicialian wine. We chose Firriato Jasmin and it was perfect only problem was that they ran out of bottles only 3 in stock

You need to visit this hotel! We were in Sicily for an incredible wedding. the room was perfect - large by Sicilian standards. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Top notch was the service provided by the attentive staff. Cappuccino's delivered to your door in the morning!! We plan on returning next summer. See you there.

About 10 -15 minutes from the airport. Nice property, secure parking, pool.
Restaurant and breakfast were above average. The only problem was the a/c
didn't work and the screen door was torn so we couldn't get any outside air.
Nice property for a short stay.

Stayed the last 2 nights of our holiday in Sicily to be close to the airport and a couple of sights. The hotel is indeed very close to the airport and that noise did not affect us. However the main road behind the hotel did simply because the residence rooms where we stayed had no double glazing and the windows did not close properly. Airco sounded like a jet engine and room needed a clear refresh on all aspects. We dined once and quality was good but very expensive by Sicilian standards. Staff do not really care about guests and it was impossible for us to get an early bird carry-on breakfast due to an early flight. The best thing in the hotel is the pool which we really enjoyed however be aware the hotel caters for weddings so don't be surprised if the pool closes early on you. So if you need to stay close to the airport for one night it's OK but that's about it.
