We stayed two nights in room # 8 - mid week - Monday and Tuesday.
The room is clean and there is a nice view over the water from the balcony. We used the small fridge and had breakfast (cereal & coffee) on the patio both mornings overlooking the water. We didn't use the window air conditioner as it wasn't that warm...but it was on when we arrived and quite noisy.
We biked the parkway and went on a boat cruise. We wanted to go kayaking in Ganaoque but it was too windy.
We had a good mini-vacation!

We went in April. It was opening weekend for the boat tours and the place was just coming alive. It was beautiful, quiet but close to everything. There are restaurants, gift shops, churches, the Thousand Island Tours. It's actually a little town. We are going to make it a regular trip.
There are only a few rooms, 6 I think, so reservations would be necessary. The rooms have decks with steps going down to a boardwalk on the water. The bathroom had no surface area to put things and the beds are only doubles, not queens. Other than that, it was excellent. Great pub, supreme view, close drive to Gananoque casino & also Kingston.

Had an enjoyable dinner after a day on the water. We had ribs, fish and chips, Shanghai Noodle bowl and trout for dinner - all very good and sizable portions.

We sat outside and had a lovely view. The waitress was friendly and helpful.

All in all, a pleasant dinner

Instead of Gananoque try driving a little further to the town of Rockport. It is well worth it. Situated right on the St. Lawrence River the Boathouse Country Inn is the place to stay. Ask for the upstairs and Room 10 which was quaint and we sat on our balcony overlooking the river watching the boats go by both before and after our dinner cruise
(See other review for Rockport boat cruises). Even the bed was comfortable. We highly recommend Room 10 and this Inn as our overnight was great.

Room tip: While having to use stairs Room 10 is the one to get.

Just back from our weekend at Rockport. Can not say enough about the location or all the staff. Breakfast was on the patio overlooking the river. Lunch was at the Boathouse on their patio and then dinner at the pub.
Something for everyone here.
Very busy spot but everyone was on top of their game.
Rooms were very clean and housekeepers were very sweet.

Room tip: Room one has a lovely patio
