The staff here are horrible and don’t know how to treat customers. Hopefully soon they get some new staff, that know how to work in this kind of industry!

Amazing view with great staff but that's where the goodness stops. The property is hard to navigate as nothing has signs and is in general poor repair considering all the recent reno talk. My wife and I ordered the same entrees and both plates were borderline inedible-the fries were dripping with grease and the burgers were cold. The server was very apologetic but you could tell this was business as usual. The menu is all over the place and this seems more like a dive the locals party at than someplace you would visit on a trip.

I love walking into the Riverside when the band is blasting some good Canadian rock n roll and my favourite server Rachel is preparing some great cocktails. The service here is always fun and quick...the regulars are friendly and everyone is here for a good time. Wade is a great manager and one can see it when the staff are happy the leadership is there.

Went to lunch with a friend, first-timers at this restaurant. First, the menu for both breakfast and lunch are very limited offering only the basics. We both ordered the "Classic burger". Both meals arrived with burnt hamburger buns and over cooked meat.
Hopefully at some point the ownership reads and believes these reviews. Until they do, we won't be back.

We've gone to the Riverside a couple of times since it re-opened, and we have also ordered take out appies from them. We've felt awkward every time we have gone there. There is a bit of a "locals only" atmosphere, and unless the staff knows you, it seems like you don't get the best service. This past summer, we went there on a warm summer evening to give them another chance with dinner on the patio. After taking our drink order, we told the server we needed another few minutes deciding on our meals. Well, we didn't end up seeing our server for another 45 minutes, and by then we had decided to finish our drinks and head to a different establishment instead.

The food is nothing too exciting, decent pub food. Service needs to improve for sure though.
