we called here for a quick lunch on our way to cumbria and got a very pleasant surprise. the menu has a great choice and is great value. the staff are very welcoming and the standard is excellent. we only wanted sandwiches and were amazed at the size and quality, the tuna mayo panini and the fish finger sandwich (home made with real chunks of proper haddock) get a special mention.

I was a little sceptical about visiting the masons as we are a large group of 8 and they have such a small menu however I hold my hands up and admit I was wrong to be.
We usually have starters but we saw someone getting a divine looking cheesecake so we held out for puddings instead.
For the main course or party basically either had fish and chips or steak and ale pie.
I personally had the fish and chips and it was to die for. The batter was light and airy and the fish succulent and fresh... it tasted like what you would expect at the seaside. It was heaven.
I'm not ashamed to say that I also tried someone's pie and the pastry was like a granny would make. It was delicious and the chunks of steak were huge.
For dessert the majority had banoffee cheesecake after seeing some when we walked in. It was amazing...
If we come back to ingleton next year we will definitely come back to the masons.
Service was fab. A young blonde girl served us and she was so attentive without been overbearing x

Recently refurbished - looking fresh but still maintains loads of character. Staff friendly, polite and prompt. Great menu of standard pub fare, priced very reasonably. I had the summer salad special with chicken breast & my other half had the pie. We were both very pleased, hot food, cooked beautifully and great personalities.
Well done - we'll be back

Called in Yesterday for the Pie & Pint night. A lovely warm friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Both fires lit which adds to the cosy feeling. Pie was to die for at last no puff pastry lid in a dish a proper pie with gorgeous pastry and gravy. My husband had a guest ale from Handsome Brewery called "stranger" was a good pint pulled to perfection. I had a pint of Aspall cider which is my favourite. A great evening. We have booked for Christmas Day I'm sure it won't disappoint. Thank you 😊
