If you want a restaurant in Santorini that will test your pallet, this is the place for you. My wife and myself was told about Athenian and they did not disappoint. The food was first class, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, not like most top class restaurants were they are formal and like robots.. you are put at ease with the natural nature of all the staff. We had the 9 course meal. Some would say it is very expensive but you are sampling some of the most amazing dishes that will have you looking forward to the next dish.. every bite will give you a new mix of flavour that combine to an experience rather than just a meal. Highly recommended especially if you see yourself as a foodie.

The Athenian House exceeded all our expectations. The 180€ menu is an incredible value, as each dish is a masterpiece. The caldera view is simply stunning, especially during sunset. The colors of the sky and sea combined with the romantic setting create an unforgettable atmosphere. The service was impeccable and the staff very professional.
