I stayed there last october , on my yearly trip on my marriage anniversary week. My decision making point was its location, its right on the baga beach. Its kind of homestay but not exactly. Rooms give you Portuguese feeling or European feel but they are small not very spacious. This is compensated by extra balcony if you go for beach facing rooms, You can enjoy evening view from there.
Few draw backs are they dont serve lunch or dinner. I did not try their breakfast, which i heard they provide(very basic, i heard). This is both good and bad. Bad if you are not in a mood to go out on a night for dinner or feeling lazy.
But otherwise if you come out of the hotel towards the beach then beach is full of good restaurant shacks with awesome food.
Another point which goes in its favor is, it also walking distance from Tittos street, if you are a group of boys who have come for party, u got beach on one side and Tittos on other, so enjoi.
But parking is a problem if you have come by your own car as I did. But still manageable.
