The average mark is merely for disappointment, certainly not for service or value. Unfortunately, we only saw one minke whale that briefly made an appearance but not everyone on the boat saw it. We spent 4 hours searching the bay but nothing doing today. We did manage to see some puffins floating around, a porpoise, and some seals. We went whale watching a few days earlier in Cape Breton and saw minke whales so we came to the west side of the province in the hopes of seeing humpbacks. Sadly, they did not want to be found. Apparently the zodiac company found some whales 25 miles further than where we were and that simply wasn't an option on the Georgie Porgie so you may want to consider the zodiac company if you can afford it and don't mind the bumpier ride. However, we did receive vouchers to go back for a free tour because we didn't see any whales today. Hopefully, we can return to Nova Scotia one day.

Took the 1 pm tour on the Georgie Porgie. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. The boat was comfortable and had a bathroom on board. The skipper was great at finding the whales and even found about a dozen dolphins. The kids had lots of questions and the staff were able to answer every one. They even had pictures and books for them to look at. The kids even got to "steer" the boat. Make sure to bring snacks and warm clothes. Even on calm days the Bay of Fundy can be rough so if you are prone to seasickness, take precautions. One of the kids got sick and the staff was very good about cleaning it up. Well worth the cost. Would definitely go again.
