If you had not read about this stone or paid attention while walking it is very easy to miss. It was on route to Sleeping Indian.

Our guide told us the ancient drawings are pre Columbian. the glyphs were very interesting and we marveled at what they could possibly mean? To see the glyphs is a short walk from the parking lot and a few bucks to get in. If you're in the area it is worth checking out.
A small walk of 5 minutes will take you to this Written Stone. Beautiful place for a nice photo. Will have to learn on your own.... very easy to get there. Enjoy
So neat to see these ancient drawings! For history lovers, it was a great addition to a day that included a lot of activities ... Our guide was great and told us about them and took pictures of us!
Short hike to the site. It is ancient no doubt. A guide was on hand to describe the etchings (In Spanish). Beware of mosquitoes.
This trip is basically a fee based walk up a trail in the woods to see some ancient markings on a rock. History buffs will enjoy the story behind the markings, but regular people will most likely see it as some version of graffiti rather than hieroglyphic in nature.
