This is an adults only all inclusive resort, among the better ones I have been to internationally.
Here are some of the positives: lovely staff who really try their best to help out; very nice rooms (though the balcony door lock on mine was broken) with terrific air conditioning; superb pool; lobby entertainment most evenings (some of it is just OK but the lady who plays the violin was fabulous). And I found a great tour guide, Carlos of Blue Sky tours, who was recommended by the hotel staff.
The negatives: no deck chairs only lounge cots at the pool (if you like to read you cannot really sit at the pool, so you have to climb back up to the lobby); cold and I mean COLD showers (no hot water at all); food is not terrible but like most all inclusives I would not call it superb either; buildings where the rooms are located are spread out so you will likely need to take the somewhat infrequent shuttles to get to the lobby restaurants and back; they have a crazy reservation policy for the specialty restaurants (you cannot pre-book them, meaning you have to reserve them very early in the morning of the day you plan on going...this was such a nuisance I gave up trying & only booked one of the two nights I was entitled to), and a similarly bizarre policy of having to use a waiter...This is an adults only all inclusive resort, among the better ones I have been to internationally.

Anyway, overall it was a positive experience, for a short break from Vancouver's rain.More
