Wonderful location and nice surroundings. Good friendly staff, Breakfast great and we will be coming back again. Rooms could do with some updating but overall one of the best places to stay in the Hunter Valley.

We occasionally go on short trips just the two of us and with friends to celebrate life, birthdays and anniversaries and this was a luxury escape item which we took advantage of like many do plus we were fortunate to go ballooning the next day. We had a really beautiful time, staff were super friendly, food was fresh and tasty in both bar and restaurant
The decor and facilities were very clean and the weather was perfect in all aspects . Totally recommend Chateau Elan and we will be back. Thank-you to all of the staff even the lovely lady who was pushing a trolley with food on it outside apologised for the wheels being noisy. So kind

Stay longer than 2 nights so you can make greater use of all this beautiful escape offers. The villa is stunning and very spacial. It has everything you need and is extremely private and comfortable. Excellent location - easy access to all of The Hunter Valley.

all staff at this resort are very pleasant and very helpfull couldnt do enough to make us feel welcome the grounds are very well maintained and very clean the tennis courts are good as is the swimming pool

We booked through Luxury Escapes for my husbands birthday for a 2 night stay. Well priced with a few inclusions such a breakfast, wine & cheese tastings and glasses of wine at the Spike Bar.
The property is stunning, grounds are very well maintained and staff were always friendly and welcoming. I was a little disappointed with the room, when we arrived the bathroom floor was soaking wet which was a good sign it had been cleaned but not dried at all. Shower and toilet are super pokey, for such a large room I would have thought they could have portioned the toilet and shower better. I'm a travel agent and have stayed in some pretty average places and some gorgoues properties all over the world and Chateau Elan is in the middle. I have wanted to stay here for some time now and so glad I got a good deal as I would be extremely disappointed if I paid full price. I think maybe less money spend on the grounds and the development of the property, and cash injection into the room upkeep would make a huge difference and is very much needed.
