We had a short break as a family of 5. The site is very well looked after. Fishing and golf on offer. The on site bar serves food all day. The beach is full of fossils and only a short walk directly from the site.

We have had a holiday home on this site for twenty years,we have always enjoyed going and looked forward to it ..but I must say it as gone down hill a lot since Haven took over, and more so this last six months, the pool is dirty, two of the showers are broke and have been for quite a while,,that's in the ladies part...opening times for club rooms are hit and miss, the food in the bar is awful, looks like microwave meals, this is not just a site for "July and August" holiday time it is an eleven month site and some times out of season...September to June we have no facilities at all,as we are paying over £5,000 + a year ground rent and I know some pay more it is just not value for money, the reception staff are sharp, ignorant, and sometimes just carry on talking to one another while you just stand there waiting and getting het up.they need a great shake up.. all though the gardens greenery looks nice at first glance they are rapidly taking over the site it is time for a very thourer cut back and thinning out,,it is beginning to look like a jungle..also cannot remember the last there was so many empty pitches, people are leaving left ,right and centre..please do somethink about it before you end up with an empty site,,,it wants a good shake up

Room tip: Keep to the rules even if they don't ,they will be on your back

The restaurant within the holiday park serves only freshly caught local fish and is a real find. Unlicensed, glasses are available for anyone wishing to take their own bottle. A blackboard lists the fish on offer, accompanied by simple vegetables or salad. This unpretentious restaurant welcomes children, and the opening hours reflect that. A real find, and open to non-residents of the park too. One minor gripe; finger bowls were not offered with the very buttery and delicious garlic and chili prawns, though we did get napkins.
