RO: Vizita la Restaurantul Vânătorul a fost una dintre cele mai inspirate decizii ale primei seri petrecute in Poiana Brasov! Intreaga experienta a fost una inedita: muzica romantica, aleasa cu bun gust, perfecta pentru o iesire cu partenerul, atmosfera arhaica indusa de decorul cu specific vanatoresc, frumos armonizat cu peisajul de la poalele Masivului Postavaru! Cat despre preparatele servite, doar cuvinte de lauda: Bulzul Romanesc, copt in cuptor alaturi de ingredientul secret, branza proaspata de-a locului, a fost cel mai bun bulz mancat pana in prezent! De asemenea, ceafa de porc impreuna cu legumele la cuptor au fost cea mai gustoasa combinatie a serii! Cireasa de pe tort: desertul extraordinar de fresh - Minitortul lejer! Ceva deosebit de racoritor si de lejer! Si, sa nu uitam: complimente bucatarului pentru preparate si ospatarului - Multumim, Ovidiu, pentru o servire perfecta!

ENG: The visit to Vânătorul Restaurant was one of the most inspired decisions of the first evening spent in Poiana Brasov! The whole experience was very unique: romantic music, chosen with good taste, perfect for a special dinner with your partner, the archaic atmosphere induced by the hunting setting, beautifully harmonized with the landscape at the foot of the Postăvaru Massif! As for the dishes served, just words of praise: Bulzul Românesc, baked in the oven with the secret ingredient, fresh cheese on the spot, was the best one eaten so far! Also, the pork steak together with the baked vegetables were the tastiest combination of the evening! The icing on the cake: the extraordinarily fresh dessert - the Light Mini Cake: something very refreshing and easy! And, let's not forget: congratulations to the chef for the dishes and to the waiter - Thank you, Ovidiu, for a perfect service!

What an experience! We hadn't booked but the delightful lady managed to squeeze us in. Top class wine list, with help from the team we really could find a grate whine. Small interesting menu, all dishes professionally prepared. Great ambience.

I have been to the Vanatorul as far back as 1977, when food supplies were scarce under the socialist regime. Nowadays the menu is full with tasty dishes and all kinds of drinks. We were there for dinner and had excellent 'caprioara' in a calm place on the big terrace. The restaurant lies on a slope and is surrounded by forest on three sides, and there is a very picturesque wooden chapel not far from the restaurant. Presently, however, a large boarding house is being constructed below the Vanatorul, which might profoundly change the appearance of this hitherto very romantic corner of Poiana Brasov.
