Me and my friend had a great stay last weekend in Rjukan town. Park hotel was very spacious and it is located in the town center, the supermarket is just next door and there is also a bar and a restaurant here in the first floor. Our room was clean and cozy with the window to the mountain view, although there’s a lot to see around so we didn’t stay much in the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, advised us what to do in the town.
Recommend for every nature lover who’s looking for a relaxing holiday!

You don't put your expectations too high on a small place like Rjukan when it comes to accommodation. The hotel was old and crying for maintenance, the room dirty and smelling, the noise from the traffic outdoor annoying. You have to park on an public place. The restaurant may be ok if you're a fan of thai food. We skipped breakfast.
On the other hand, endure it, Rjukan has a lot to offer!

Very helpful and friendly girl in the lobby. We were 5 people in one big room. Clean room, great beds. Two bathrooms. Tea/coffee maker. The hotel is a bit battered, but we found it charming. We kept looking for the Norwegian antihero, Harry Hole in the hallways. Nice breakfast.

Generally it is a little tired round the edges but my room was quite large with all expected amenities, bed was comfortable and clean, bathroom clean and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very good with lots to choose from, both hot and cold. In such a small town, you're not going to find a top class hotel and although not cheap it was more than adequate for our overnight stay.

Sadly its the only one we found w a room.
Worn down and battered.
Breakfast was ok, but i was sleeping on a bed designed as a see saw(missing legs).
Sheets were nice and white thou:)
Bathroom was homemade?
The shower was elevated 20cm off the rest of the bathroom floor, and that was the only place water could run off in there. So for their sake i hope they have better pipes that wont spring leak.
If this happens their nice woodlike floor in the hall would surely bubble more.
No lights in one part of the room. There was a lamp there but the bulb was only for show.
Priced as a normal nice hotel, but cant say i'd go back because of this hotel.
Area outside is lovely thou. And the room is sleepable. But dont get your hopes up.
