The museum is amazing, it shows excatly the customs of the people of traditional family in easy circum-stances. Yes, we have lots of great patriots that were poor, but when you visit Kableshkov house you can understand the real meaning of the wish to become freedom. Because for Kableshkov and his family the money and the good life were not enough. It is what really impressed me that people who had everything, even those kind of people were sacrificing that good life that they had following their wish to live in an independent country.

This is a house of Todor Kableshkov, a Bulgarian revolutionary and one of the leaders of the April Uprising. There was a monument of Kableshkov inner yard and one big tree (cedar?) standing near the monument. When I visited there in September 2015, taking picture isn't allowed inside, but I liked the decorations.

Todor Kableshkov was born in 1851 in this house and grew up here. He was the Chairman of the Secret Revolutionary Committee of Koprivshtitsa. With his Blood Letter, he declared the start of the April Uprising in Bulgaria. After the defeat of the rebellion, he was captured near the village Chiflick and on June 17, 1876 he committed suicide in Gabrovo's prison.
The house museum is beautiful! Buy the package deal, 5 leva for all six house museums. Number 5 on the map!
