We arrived late to a clean room and comfy bed. We woke up and opened the curtains to a spectacular view of the hills and mountains of Ella! We were really pleased with our accommodation. It was very reasonably priced and enjoyed 3 nights here. There was no pool but we found that we were out a lot so didn’t miss one at this location.

The owner greeted us on arrival. He provided advice in relation to how to get to sights. You can walk along the train tracks into Ella (10 mins) and get to the nine arch bridge which took 45 mins. We also were given directions to the Ella peak and little Adam’s peak. Bring a torch for the evening if walking into Ella for a meal. A tuk tuk is a good option coming back although we preferred the walk back.

Breakfast was large consisting of coconut pancakes, fruit, toast and egg hoppers, tea and coffee and fresh fruit juice.

We used their laundry service and the owner could arrange a taxi or tuk tuk if needed.

We just loved sitting out on the terrace and looking at the view. Yes there are a few steps up to the guest house but still manageable for my husband who is awaiting a knee op.

Bathroom was sufficient, warm/hot shower.

My son saw a porcupine one even which he said was one of the holiday highlights.

We would definitely return.
