Our stay started out promising, with us entering the gorgeous, rustic-looking front lobby early in the morning. There was some initial confusion at the front desk, since the person we were coordinating with was not on-site. We were eventually assured however, that we would be getting two rooms for 3 persons each, inclusive of breakfast, at the agreed price. The next day, however, the receptionist informed us that breakfast was not included in the price, and we would have to pay additional charges if we wanted to eat there. We opted to eat out in frustration.

Other things: Their massage therapists are unprofessional (taking calls/ texting while in the middle of the session, not mindful/protective of clients' privacy), and the shared bathroom for the Duo rooms is very cramped.

The hotel looks good, the rooms are okay. The bed and the pillow were uncomfortable. The wi-fi wasn't working well in the room, we had to go to the public area to be able to go on internet. The service was good. The location is good, only 2-3 minutes from the port in tricycle or 15 minutes by walk.

It's a nice hotel, relaxing and quite. I like the surroundings but I don't like the room because its not comfortable. I don't like the bathroom because it's not clean and the shower is not good. The hotel workers are nice but they are not willing to help to carry your stuffs.

my husband and i went on a short vacation and we really enjoyed staying here.. our room was so cozy, we hoped to stay longer.. staff were really friendly and accomodating.. and we also had one of our best spa experience there.. we would probably sat here again when we have the chance.

We had none of the issues of the prior reviews, the hotel is under new management with Richard returning from running an upscale resort in Cebu. He makes sure you have everything you need and truly goes above and beyond.

Taking a trip through the hotel (we did whale sharks), Richard was also our tour guide and he was genuinely excited to share the best food he could with us from Dumaguete, sparing no expense during lunch and even ordering us more food to take to our next resort. He also made sure the kitchen was open early for breakfast since we were leaving at 7, and arranged our ferry, lodging, and ground transportation at our next destination. Truly could not have asked for a better hotel manager or guide. He also managed to get us through the throngs of tourists ultra fast so we got to see the whale sharks early and without waiting.

In terms of facilities, we stayed in room 5 for a reasonable price, acceptable though somewhat dated shower and air con, without any any problems. Certainly happy with our stay!
