We visited on a sunny week day which was nt in the school Holidays so it was quiet and peaceful. We purchased food from the cabin at the entrance and that was a great decision as feeding the birds really added to the day. I would usually be anxious about touching any unknown creature but there were lots of knowledgeable keepers around and information signs so guests and more importantly the birds were well protected. I adored a sweet, affectionate little sun conure called Mango who sat on my shoulder as a walked around keeping me company. The café and loos were clean and there was lots of space to sit outside in sun or shade. I would love to go back if in the area again.

Visited bird land for the first time and had a lovely day out, all the birds and goats are beautiful and very well looked after.we fed the birds and got to hold them all and interact with them, they have amazing personalities.all the staff was vey helpful explaining about the birds to my children ,you can see they take pride in their work and love the birds.but most of all was the owners young daughter , she was awesome and was helping everyone if you was a little nervous she knew what bird would be best to start holding first .will definitely visit again and recommend friends

Beautiful experience to see such a wide range of tropical birds, clearly well-looked after, and allowed their freedom in an open area where they could be fed by, and mix with, the punters. A warning to those who may be squeamish about being dived-bombed by parakeets - they're only being friendly after all, but it may be disconcerting to find a couple of birds on your head. Enchanting to think that, had we been thousands of miles away in Oz or South America, then this would be the way that many of these beautiful birds would be existing in the wild. Definitely worth a look.

If I could I would give 10 stars. This is a once in a lifetime experience for anyone to actually hold just about every variety of parrot. The park is very well kept, the birds and goats are well fed and cared for, and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The cafe food is beautifully fresh and tasty. This is one of my top picks for a brilliant day out.

Enjoyed tropical bird land and they’ve priced it right fur under 3’s bring free as he wasn’t that fussed at 2.5yrs old. But loved the park at the end next to the cafe / be warned the tall slide is FAST!

You’ll do this in a few hours at most, the nest bit was the parrots uncaged at the end - loads of them.

Definitely buy food from the start and feed the birds on the way round!
