Ziur Inn is in a convenient location in Laoag’s city center, near the Sinking Bell Tower and Laoag City Park. I only stayed 1 night but the room I stayed in was comfortable, clean, and had A/C. The wifi also worked well in the room. However, the lights in the room were a bit dim but not a big deal. For an extra fee, you can also order Filipino breakfast here. The staff was very friendly, and they even helped me book a tricycle tour to Paoay and Batac. Overall, it was a good place to stay in Laoag.

We booked the hotel through agoda.com on February 7 at around 11 in the morning. I needn't print the voucher anymore because I asked the Front desk staff about it. She said that I just need to show the voucher on my phone. So, I was very glad about it! However, when we arrive there on February 8, they said that my name wasn't on their list. They were checking it for like 10 minutes then a man came. I am not sure who he is but it looks like he has the power to authorize things. So, he said "sige bigay niyo na available room!" with a smile. Hearing that gave me a relieved. But seeing the room, I got a bit disappointed. The one that we book says it has two single beds but the one given to us was a queen size bed. I just didn't complain about it anymore because we have to attend a wedding ceremony 2 hours after we arrive. The lighting was not sufficient and the room smelled like smoke from the cigarette. I just told myself "isang gabi lang".. There was a tissue roll provided and towels for two were already on the bed as soon as we got it in. The door knob was also jammed. Though there were cameras, I still needed to be careful especially at night. Good things about the place are very accessible! Go outside and there is a bakery, walk a bit and you can reach Savemore or Puregold. Moreover, ATMs are just around the corner. You are never going to be lost.. The front desk staff was very informative, too!

This inn offers affordable rooms in the middle of Laoag city. Strategically located beside the main road, has bakery 2 mins away, offers room with breakfast, nice television with good cable, towels and other toiletries are provided.

Rooms are not sound proof, we can hear the noise from the other room but bearable. Check in process is not a hassle. Parking is limited to 2 cars. You can walk from this inn to the nearest convenience store for just 3mins, and walk towards the plaza where the big LAOAG and ILOCOS NORTE is located for just 5mins. Wifi is not working when we got there.

Overall, my 400 for an overnight rate did not disappoint. Will surely recommend this place.

My plane landed in Laoag at around 8:15PM. Prior to my flight, I called Ziur to confirm my booking which I did via Agoda. The staff was able to confirm pretty quickly. When I got here, my room was already nice and cold and was waiting for me. It has the bare necessities--TV, wifi, bathroom (no toiletries included), a bed, two pillows, a blanket, and 2 towels. Do not expect hotel level accommodations. This place is really for people who are just looking for somewhere cheap to spend the night. It's easy to find and most people know it, including tricycle drivers (which are your main access to the different parts of the city).

By chance I have booked this room because they offer the most affordable prices! That's the biggest PRO in this place. Only 800 pesos for 2 person. They offer free breakfast for that. The place is situated in the downtown area. So when you step outside, you can find a bunch of fast food places, market and even pasalubong center. The room is small but comfortable for a good night's sleep. They also arranged tours for big and small groups. I think they offer the cheapest so don't hesitate to check with the receptionist.
