Thank you very much Ma'am Heidi for the kind words. We are delighted to know that you enjoyed your stay in our hotel. We hope you can visit us again soon and serve you with the extra touches of Fort Ilocandia hospitality.
I stayed in this hotel eleven years ago and I stayed again last March 2018. It is still quite impressive. The sunset suite where I stayed has been renovated, quality of linens and pillows are luxurious. Staff service is highly satisfactory. However they need improvement on the breakfast buffet selection and perhaps the pool needs an upgrade. Compared to the other new hotels, I believe Fort Ilocandia has more to offer. Will not think twice about staying here again.
Warmest Greetings from Fort ILocandia Resort Hotel!
Thank you for the trust you have placed in us. We are glad that you truly enjoyed your stay and our staff are pleased to hear that they made your stay pleasant. We appreciate your valuable feedback on our rooms and amenities and we have taken note on your breakfast experience; we regret that we were not able to meet your expectation.
We are looking forward to having you back again soon and to accord you the extra touches of Fort Ilocandia hospitality.
The construction is amazing and it must have been great, a long time ago. It looks half-abandoned, services offered on the website do not exist anymore (like the casino), the beach is not equipped, etc.
The room was ok although the bathroom is super old.
The F&B experience is terrible, especially the breakfast - the worth we got during our trip in the Philippines.
We stayed there just one night before catching a plane from Laoag, which is conviennent, but would not stay there for any other reasons.
Had a great time but average service the staff was not that accomodating and never initiate their help to the guest. The area was very good but theu wont allow us to go to the beach. I love the place but the staff is just average
Family coming from different places met at Fort Ilocandia before exploring the province and we had a great time bonding. It was Valentines Day and they had a celebration but the family gathering at dinner was served by two Restaurant attendants. We did not mind as we were in a reunion, otherwise it would have been a long wait for the food. The next morning we explored the beach, the swimming pool, the mini zoo and the wide grounds. The facility used to have a casino but its no longer there. It's historical but can be maintained better, or if new investment can utilize the grounds to keep its luster.
Located in a vast tract of land, the first thing i noticed are the big parking spaces. The dominant color of the buildings is brick red, reminds you of the buildings inside the Harvard University campus in Massachusetts. Inside the hotel there is a courtyard with a fountain, a game room, music lounge, swimming pools, and a hot air balloon ride. The rooms were just fine with the usual amenities present although some updating needs to be done. When in Laoag, a stay in Fort Ilocandia will always be worthwhile.
