Just near our hotel (Renzo hotel), we just rode a trike to Saramsam and found out it was also another hotel.

This is our first try on an Ilocano cuisine for our trip and we enjoyed it! Not just the food but the place itself because of the antique designs, use of white cloth and the approachable staff that it gives a fine dining feels.

They have 2 floors but we personally liked the 2nd floor where we ate because of its more quiet and private area.

We say it's one of the place to try when in Laoag!

We went as a group to this hotel, which has been converted from a doctor's residence. There were water features in the reception and in the garden. The rooms were delightfully individual. We had the executive suite, which had been the doctor's bedroom, which had a wonderful sitting room, with 3 settees and an old singer sewing machine table, and decorated pelmets around the room. The bedroom had long wooden headboards, and was partitioned from the sitting room by panels of orginal patterned wood and capiz shells, instead of glass.

The whole place was charming, and quirky, with interesting nooks and crannies. The food was good but not outstanding. There was a choice of filipino, American or continental breakfast. American was bacon, eggs and toast, Although there was free wifi, it was a poor signal, and you had to go to reception to get on the net.

All of their food are superb!! Accommodating staff plus cozy place and you will really enjoy the food. We tried poqui-poqui and bagnet.. Try also their calamansi with honey tea. :)

Went last June during our North Luzon road trip. We really enjoyed the food. At first we were hesitant since the entrance was through a small hotel which was dark and quaint. The place had a homey ambiance since it was small and intimate. The food was 2 thumbs up. It showcased the best ilocano foods cooked to perfection. Will definitely recommend to friends who are going to Laoag.
