Owner description: Good food, Great Bands, Friendly People

We love Jim and Jacks. Nice people, and friendly service. Food is fine. Our last couple of times, the bands seemed to be playing less country music. Hope they stick to country. In fact, getting bands with a more classic country sound would be great!

Went here because somebody where my wife works told her about it. Went on Friday night for the fish sandwich. Was not really impressed, had to wait ten minutes for a waitress to come and ask us if we wanted anything to drink. The fish was okay, but the fries were frozen and when they brought them to us they were cold. Forty miles from my home and I get cold fries and mediocre fish. I wanted to try the ribs but they were out. Will not return, get the best fish available at Old Bag of Nails, and better service with better price.

We love to stop in J&J's for dinner and a beverage! Friendly service and great entertainment. Either music, dancing, paddle parties, birthday parties ...always fun. Can't wait to go again.

Walked in for the first time three years ago, and have been back many times. Throw It Down was the band that night, and they hooked us!

I've had the burger, and it is very good, above average. The cod fish is a wonderful classic fish and chips. Also had the club sandwich, and it is solid.

We go primarily for the live country music. Excellent bands on the weekend! Service is always good and attentive. They work very hard to please the customer.

Recommend!

We like to stop in on weekend evenings for live music. Try to go on an evening when Jamison Road is playing, and you will have a great night of original country music and good covers of classic country songs! Drinks are generous and well-priced, and they even make their own ginger ale for your designated driver. The crowd is older, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Not a place for a 20-something to bring a date, but rather a nice, safe, homespun bar, made better when a great band is playing.
