Family had a wonderful time at the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk. Hotel staff was always so nice and accommodating from the front desk to valets to maid to bartenders ands chefs. I am a Hilton Diamond member but my upgrade was not available at check in however the next day I was upgraded to an Ocean view with a balcony. As usual, we had full breakfast and an evening reception- a nice Embassy Suites bonus. Breakfast rom was large but I preferred to eat poolside. Most nights the receipt had live entertainment which was really good. Gym was nice size with enough variety to get a work out away from home. The location is great and convenient. The only negative are the very slow elevators. Great overall stay!

Room tip: Ask for a room in the Hula Tower which is closer to the Beach for a better view if you get an Ocean front room

Clean and comfortable rooms and great pool. The pool is all anti slip and has an area for babies and a huge hot tub. Would definitely recommend for families and hope to stay here again. The free breakfast had a lot of options though not the best quality eggs. But the omelette bar was fantastic, I’d suggest that over the scrambled eggs at the buffet. Location great if you like to be out of the major Waikiki hot spots. And lots of great options for food close by (our fave was the musubi cafe across the street).

We stayed in the Embassy Suites for a week at the start of July, and were luckily offered an upgrade (although not free) to a corner suite on the 18th floor overlooking Waikiki Beach. This upgrade definitely helped us enjoy our time in Hawaii, although it may have been a different matter had we been on the third floor where we had been allocated.

The suite we had was huge for our needs. Very spacious, with two queen beds in the main bedroom and a sofabed in the lounge. The small kitchen area was equipped with a kettle, coffee maker, and a fridge. All great modcons for our stay.

The hotel is in a great location , 10 mins walk from Waikiki Beach, with lots of eating places, shopping, beach access, and more in easy reach. What isn't great is the size of the pool area, and the extreme lack of any shade unless you paid through the nose for one of four day beds ($68-$80 PER DAY), or four cabanas (nearly $100 PER DAY). Perhaps this is a European thing, but when going to stay at a beach hotel on holiday, we would expect at least some shade provided around the pool without having to pay for it. Charging hotel guests best part of $100 per day for the privilege is shocking.

Breakfast is provided at the hotel, but the restaurant feels far too small for the size of it, and queues would readily form and tables were either not available or not cleared by the staff. For example, one morning when it was raining we were told we had to sit outside in the rain to eat our breakfast, which really was quite disappointing. Breakfast itself was fine, but very limited in choice.

Beyond these issues, the front desk staff, and concierge services were very helpful indeed for all our needs and should be commended.

Would we stay here if we came back? Possibly, but only if we could get a room high up again.

Room tip: Upgrade to a corner suite high up if you can for the views!

We had an awesome time in Hawaii. It all started when we arrived at Embassy Suite after along flight. We were pleasantly greeted by the hotel staff. The valet staff was very friendly. The bellman who assisted us was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a nice conversation as we walked to my room. He suggested a few places in the area to visit and tour. Throughout our stay, we run into the bellman and he was always a enjoy to talk to, We just wanted to thank D for showing us what is the meaning of Aloha spirit. It's people like him who sets hotels apart, Thanks D and the valet staff for pleasant experience.
