PROs:
Amenities - savings on beach gears (don't have to buy/rent beach mat, chairs, towels, boogie boards) and bfast (even though just pastries and fruits, have to try out the islands' best bfast anyway on some days). coffee/tea/water/juice are avail 24/7. love the mini tablet in the room (easy room requests and for valet car daily).
Value and Location - great deal from Expedia; other hotels around charge more for parking; 2 or 3 blocks from Waikiki beach (Duke statue) and walking distance to a lot of good food and some shopping; was on 15th floor, no noise overnight.
Service - every employee was friendly and exceptional! esp those at daily valets
CONs:
Room - bedroom w/ 1Q bed is tiny and could use a box spring under the mattress. Weak wifi and tv/signal on some nights.
Location - if driving, since in Waikiki, could experience some slight traffic getting in and out of the area.
Overall, pros exceeds the slight cons. Would recommend and personally go back.

My Bf and I stayed here for 5 days. We had such an incredible time. The staff was beyond amazing and very helpful. They all took time to make us feel welcome and always inform us on places to visit. I will for sure stay here again. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Honolulu.

We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Such a great experience. This was our first visit ti Hawaii and I must say this was the best visit ever. Nothing couldn't have been better. Thank you Vive Hotel!

We stayed at Vive for a week. The room was a good size for 2 people. Check-in was quite the first impression with the friendly employees carrying our bags in and being met with cold towels and Pineapple juice. Breakfast consisted of small pastries, fruit, coffee, pineapple juice, and tea. There's only valet parking for $25 a day, a pretty steep price when we rented a car for a day and parked it overnight, in which we were charged $50. Everything thing else was great, room cleaned everyday and new towels and robes when requested.
