A few of us took the bus ( # 42) one Sunday moring to go to the swap meet. It's only 1.00 to get in and so many vendors, craftsmen and crafts-women. I remember seeing some old faces of original vendors who had been at The International Market Place, which has been revamped who are ow at the swap meet Saturday , Sunday and Tuesday. Just an FYI there are less vendors there on Tuesday , John & Marie Parks

Aloha Stadium has a storied history and has been home to a lot of great sporting events over the years. Currently, the venerable stadium plays host to University of Hawai'i football. On the night we visited, it was raining, so the venue was fairly empty. Fortunately, some of the seating is covered so we didn't get too drenched while watching UH take on Fresno State. Sightlines are okay, and there is ample parking on-site. The stadium lacks modern amenities found in newer college and pro sports venues.

On Wednesdays and Sundays they have swap meets and you can buy all sorts of stuff from souvenirs to handmade items. They expect you to haggle, so make sure you do not pay full price. During college football season this is home to the University of Hawaii Rainbows. They also feature the NFL PRO-Bowl here.

Isle and isles of vendors and deals. Check everything over and haggle. DON'T PAY FULL PRICE! They expect you to come in and dicker them down. It's part of the fun. Lots of great touristy type souvenirs but also some other fun stuff. Need more luggage for all the things you bought while in Hawaii- get it there! Very fun day! Some people go back a few times during their trip!

If you enjoy going to swap meets and want some Hawaii type souvenirs this is the place to spend a morning wandering around. Lots of t- shirts, hats and miscellaneous stuff to satisfy the folks back home.
