We stayed here as family of four for 5 nights. Our room was not one of the newly renovated ones but was clean and well fit out

The main restaurant (previously jimmy buffets and soon to be Maui Brewing Co) is not yet completed. The pool area has been renovated and was nice.

Fantastic location - close to everything. Recommend

Aloha!

Thank you for taking the time to rate us and recommend our property to other vacationers. We always receive comments about our great location and amenities here at the Beachcomber. We strive to provide our guests like you, a warm and memorable stay so you will return again and again. You will need to come back to experience the new restaurant in our lobby opening this December. We would love to have you back again.

My husband and I spent 7 days at the Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber. We really enjoyed the location being within walking distance to the beach, shopping, the zoo, the trolley lines, etc. The only things that keep me from giving them five stars is that I think the room could use a "facelift" and there being no restaurant on the property. I understand there is one coming in 2017 and that will be really nice.

We truly enjoyed the assistance from James Speight, the concierge. I have never used the services of a concierge before, so I assumed he was basically just a salesman, but was very pleasantly surprised. We told him what we would like to do and James gave us our options and comments from former guests to help us make decisions that were right for us. Thank you, James.

I wish I had gotten the name of the woman who took care of the 6th floor housekeeping on September 21st and 22nd. She always had a smile and asked if there was anything we needed.

Michael at the front desk was a life saver. We do not fly often (second time), so I was not sure how to find and print our boarding passes for our return flights. Michael dropped what he was doing and took care of it for me.

Thanks to all for making our stay fun.

It's so great to hear you and your husband enjoyed your stay with us! Thank you for your rating and pointing out the areas of improvement. We are all looking forward to the Maui Brewing Company restaurant opening in just a couple months and hope to get a refresh of our guest rooms soon. We appreciate you also sharing the great service you received from our wonderful staff, James, Yan Mei (your housekeeper) and Michael. We will be sure to share your review with them and express our appreciation for their exceptional hospitality. It would be our pleasure to host you both again. A hui hou!

All about the hotel was ok , the cleanliness and location are good . The only downside is the building work and lack of restaurant at the moment . The resort however is nice but too busy . There are too many people for the size of the resort . Not the hotels fault obviously

Aloha M W,

We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us. Glad to hear that you found the cleanliness of our hotel and location good for you. Our apologies for the current work on our new restaurant that's being built. Once completed, though, the Maui Brewing Company will be a great addition to our property. They will be featuring crafted beers and delicious island-inspired dishes, which we hope you will sample on a return visit.

Mahalo nui loa,

This hotel is in a great location as it is a short walk to the beach and shopping strip. They had great staff and concierge service which were more about you getting you what you wanted then selling you something!! The hotel pricing made it an affordable trip for us.
The bed was a little harder than we like and had low water pressure in the shower, but it still was a good value for the money. While confirming our reservation, they found out we were celebrating our 30th anniversary. Upon arrival, a nice box of macadamia nut chocolates was in our room. :)

We chose to stay at this hotel due to it's location and price and it didn't let us down, it's perfectly located for everything in Waikiki, restaurants shop and of course the beach. Rooms are well appointed although the bathroom could have benefited from a refit, it looked a little tried. All that said we had a great stay. The staff were always really helpful and our request for adjoining rooms on a high floor were accommodated. Thanks guys we will always come back when staying in Waikiki

Room Tip: High floor for sea view
