The Outlook Inn hit all our criteria. Location was perfect, clean, modernized yet still charming, breakfast included & free parking (not onsite but close). We stayed off-season so not a lot of street noise, but if you want to avoid the street, pick rooms 3, 4, 7, 8, & 9. Rooms 1, 2, 5, 6, & 10 face the street. First floor rooms are 1-4, otherwise there are stairs to rooms 5-9 on the 2nd floor, and room 10 is on 3rd floor but right off the dining room. Rooms seemed soundproof, the Inn was full & we never heard anything from the other guests. They provided all hotel necessities except the smaller rooms did not have mini fridge. Free parking down the street is a huge plus, street parking is limited. You can pull in to unload luggage, but only one car at a time. As you approach the Inn, the pull in spot is on the left just BEFORE the sign for Outlook Inn. The spot just after the sign is someone's private driveway. You'll get a parking pass for an assigned spot when you check in. We checked in early since our room was ready but the previous guest didn't vacate the parking space for our room. Maria scrambled and got us another space, but be considerate of parking! Most guests checked in early that day so every parking spot was full. And speaking of Maria, what a lovely host! She prepared a delicious hot breakfast each morning. For lighter fare, there is yogurt, granola, and fruit. We totally lucked into this Inn, the chain hotels were double the price, and we can't wait to go back.
