We reserved room 18 specifically for the Jacuzzi tub, was surprised my the radiant heat floor and very comfortable bed. My only complaint is no deadbolt on the door, but the area seemed to be very safe, just a personal thing. Will be back next time we are in the area!

Fall break is a good time to escape to the mountains and we've done this 4-5 times over the past 10 years. Each time we've rented a cabin at Amberwood which is located just outside Rocky Mountain National Park. Amberwood has very nice and affordable cabins that can best be described as quaint and rustic... rustic in a very positive sense. Most of the cabins have a knotty pine interior and include a fireplace. The management and staff are very friendly and helpful. If you want a nice get-away, I highly recommend it.

Very friendly and quaint little cabins to stay in. Ours has a fire place, microwave and a little fridge and mini coffee maker with folgers coffee. You can see wild life throughout the area because the cabins are tucked into the forest. The area looks like it has been renovated, such as air ducts and the vent in the bathroom, but it is only cosmetic. They will spot you logs and matches for the fireplace. Beds were average softness and the decorations were simple. There is no telephone so hopefully your cell phone will work.

Room tip: visit multiple sites, then visit those suggested hotels' actual websites.

We had cabin #4. It was a cozy rustic setup. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom a little cramped. Convenient location to the town and park. Kitchen was decently equipped and sink helped to serve as second bathroom sink.

We had cabin 5. What's important to us is a cleanliness, a kitchen and a porch or balcony to enjoy the scenery. Oh and good price since we're not there much. This place had them all. And so close to all the east side trails in the park. Very pleased, will definitely be back! And Todd gave great hiking and animal viewing advice.
