We stayed at the Sonnenhof B&B for two nights in early July. It is the most amazing house, filled with incredible hand crafted wood pieces made by Rudy. The view out the front is absolutely stunning -- making me wish we had stayed in the Rose Suite, which faces that way (next time!). We stayed in the Golden Aspen suite, which was also wonderful and had a slider to a little patio area in the backyard. The back is beautifully landscaped with gardens and a waterfall that you can hear in the room if you crack the door open. Having a kitchenette was a nice option and the breakfasts Rudy and Hilde made were scrumptious! The B&B is also a convenient distance from downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Rudy gave us some suggestions which we took & had an amazing time exploring RMNP. Overall, fantastic B&B with unbeatable views and great hosts. I hope we are able to go back someday!

Room Tip: Romantic Rose Suite has the best view; Golden Aspen Suite was quite and serene.

The owners/operators built this B&B from scratch as a B&B. The layout, location, view, cleanliness, and food are all excellent. The hospitality and customer service are off the charts. The owner had a career building beautiful wood furniture and filled the place with amazing pieces in every room. This is a very relaxing and inviting place to stage any Estes Park adventure.

We have visited Estes Park and Rocky Mt many times but we never stayed here until now. We have stayed in great bed and breakfast suites and boutique lodges but this is one of the very best.

The hosts are warm and welcoming and join you and other guests for a fabulous breakfast. Only 3 suites make this very private. We liked the bed, decor, cookies, coffee, tea, breakfast, hosts, other guests, location and the view is A++ We stayed in Romantic Rose and would choose that again.
Stay here-you will love it!

Room Tip: All 3 suites are wonderful-we loved Romantic Rose

The Sonnenhof is by far the best B & B that we've ever visited. The rooms have comfortable beds, great views, coffee makers and T. V.'s. The B & B is close to the Rocky Mountain National Park and to Estes Park, yet far enough away so that you can enjoy the quiet. The breakfast is fabulous every morning! You might get pancakes, crepes, waffles AND eggs AND pastries. You won't even need to think about lunch.
Rudy and Hilde are the innkeepers and are so sweet and hospitable. It's more like visiting family than a hotel experience. This was our 3rd trip to visit and we are already looking forward to next year.

Room Tip: The Rose room is my favorite but they all are fabulous.

What a wonderful time at Sonnenhof B & B. We have visited two other times before and we think this is the BEST B & B in Estes! Rudy and Hilde are wonderful hosts. The rooms, all three of them are exquisite. They feel like home, very nicely decorated and furnished and comfortable! The food is outstanding. We would highly recommend it. We have tried a few other B & b's in Estes, skip the rest and go to Sonnenhof!

Room Tip: All are superb, each offers something unique.
