Loved all the little shops and items to look at. There is a good mix of restaurants, candy stores, curiosity shops and clothing.

A lot of the shops are the same you would find in any small tourist town...numerous candy shops, T-shirt’s, jewelry and other novelties. We did find a couple that had some very unique and interesting items. Everyone we talked to was very friendly!

We stayed at the Stanley Hotel and walked around town when we weren't hiking in RMNP. Very cute town. Lots of fun shops and a variety of food options. So windy though. We walked the 3.7 mile path around Lake Estes and it felt like we were doing resistance training walking into the wind.

The restaurants, shops, and people here are great! Nothing is missing when you visit. Beautiful little downtown.

If you like T-shirt & Candy.... Then this is the place for you. The downtown has nothing else. We were so surprised since Colorado is known for their historic downtowns. Skip it, go into the park, go hiking, or fishing. The shopping and food choices are beyond horrible in Estes Park.
