Refreshing and delicious.....and now open for supper, too. We discovered this gem a few years ago, quite by accident while investigating Putnam. Delighted then and more so now. Chili was spot on and the ravioli with chicken Marsala and spinach was beyond expectations. My favorite: the raspberry iced tea. Yes, takes a bit of work to find it; but, well worth your effort. Public parking ( free, would you believe ! ) is adjacent as well as all the nooks and crannies that Putnam has to explore.......Took one of our friends, a gourmet cook in her own right, there for lunch and she plans to take her daughter there, too. Now, that is a testament ! Enjoy....

We were out on a fall foliage day trip and lucked into this fabulous little place. It’s a farm fresh to table restaurant with a creative menu. Everything is just a little different. It’s the chef’s way of combining ingredients and condiments into something new that piques your curiosity. And best of all the kitchen delivers exactly what’s promised! It’s delicious. We had lunch... and the dinner menu looked even better. We’ll be back!!

On a leaf peeping trip up in the "quiet corner" but too soon, did find this cute place on Trip advisor so wanted to try it, eclectic menu! check out the plants and containers!
Sat outside on the patio, had to ask for a clean napkin !!! leftover smege on mine! gross! Shannon, our server was very
friendly and attentive..Rasberry iced tea was good but attracted a swarm of yellow jacket bees, also attracted to my pumpkin soup! she placed a glass of syrup on a nearby empty table and that drew them away from us,The Apple pie grilled cheese was very good ,mozzarella cheese, apple slices, bacon on grilled, hearty sour dough bread.Husband tried Poutaine? shaves of braised beef on very good soft, cheesey fries,he loved it.Had to ask for water! Asked about dessert, server said only NY cheesecake and tiramisu available, we opted for the cheesecake to split, too bad she forgot to mention it was $9 for a very small slice with 2 sliced strawberries! NY price but not NY size, glad we went, came home with leftovers.but not cheesecake! Okay to try it once, good food.

We were in northeastern Connecticut for the annual craft fair in Woodstock and hungry for lunch after shopping all morning. Luckily, I consulted Trip Advisor and found not one but two new restaurants in Putnam that none of us had experienced. We decided on Jessica Tuesdays located on Main Street, right next to The Crossing. We were seated outside as all inside tables were taken. We got a table next to the fire pit. There was also a bar and several people in a large party and several other diners. Soon the restaurant was filled to capacity. The menu had several selections and a page of daily specials. I tried the pumpkin soup on special and so did mom. It was creamy and delicious. I had the fig, arugula, and butternut squash risotto which was cooked expertly and so satisfying. Mom had the coconut shrimp which came with five shrimp that she enjoyed. Our friend had the homemade ravioli filled with pesto which she adored. I also tried the special blackberry sangria which was very tasty. We are so happy we found Jessica Tuesday's.

Twice now I've joined friends here for lunch on the outside patio. It's a lovely area, mostly shaded from the summer sun along side the train tracks (I was hoping a train would come by while we were there). I had a delicious and fresh large salad while my two friends had 1/2 a sandwich with a salad. The raspberry ice tea was cold and refreshing. Staff were friendly and attentive when they needed to be and let the three of us catch up as we lingered longer during that summer afternoon. I look forward to eating here again.
