This hotel has potential to be beautiful. The decor is beautiful and the staff is friendly. However, the building is old. Our room was on the east side of the building, where most of the double queen beds are. Unfortunately, this is also the side where I-25 is. Didn't get ANY sleep the first night because of the noise from the highway. Sounded like semi trucks were in the room with us. If you stay here, definitely request a room on the west side of the building. The first night we also had bad allergy attacks. Looked in the air conditioner filter, and sure enough, was filthy. There was also a large layer of dirt and dust underneath the ac unit; looked like it hadn't been vacuumed or dusted in years. The second night, we requested a new room on the west side. It was quiet, but again, the air filter in the a/c unit was filthy. Also, there were no pillow covers on the back pillows on the bed. The outside of the building had cigarette butts, lighters, dog poop, and trash all around the building. It's kind of like their house keeping department has given up during covid. Also, no breakfast served Sunday or Monday. Pool times must be reserved and there weren't many spots available. If you dare to forget your mask in your room and try to rush out through the front lobby to your car,...This hotel has potential to be beautiful. The decor is beautiful and the staff is friendly. If you dare to forget your mask in your room and try to rush out through the front lobby to your car, even if there is NOONE in the lobby but you and a staff member who is 15' feet away from you, you will still get "Talked to" about wearing a mask. Overall, this wasn't a very pleasant stay. We were disappointed because we thought the Courtyard was supposed to be one of the nicer hotels in Albuquerque. Will stay elsewhere next time.More
