Upon our arrival, we were not happy with our room, which was a little on the small side for us and was situated weird (bathroom sink was in the bedroom). There also wasn't a refrigerator so we headed downstairs to the front desk to see if we could get another room.
Raven was amazing and extremely helpful! She gave us another room which was slightly bigger and said she would have a refrigerator brought up. We left for dinner and when we came back she had told us she made a mistake and put us in the wrong room...she had a better one for us. So we settled into a new one which was even bigger BUT the AC wasn't working. We are not complainers at all but absolutely can't sleep when it's hot. After about an hour we had no choice and Raven came to our rescue again.
She gave us yet another room which had perfect AC but sadly it only worked for us the first night. Our last night there it never got below 73 which to us is hot.
The upside to this hotel is its location and its old charm. However, there isn't any free parking so be prepared to spend $15 a day for the lot next door.
The AC alone would be the only reason why we wouldn't stay again.
But again...Raven was fantastic!!!More
