I never leave reviews, but this place was just awful. We knew we were arriving late so we did the digital key/check in. We are Hilton Diamond members through a lot of work travel. My husband dropped us off at the front and we are bringing our bags in. We walk past the desk and the staff member there to go to our room on the first floor. She says nothing. We get to the room and the digital key will not work. So I go to the front desk and the staff member says I have to approve you at check in. I then go on to explain we do the digital/online checkin to avoid this and we have never not been able to check in like that at any other Hilton branded hotel that offers it. She repeated they have to approve it to make sure I am not a minor. I am 47. As much as I wish, I looked underage, I do not. I use our log in on the app al of the time. It has all of our information and ages in our account. This should not have to happen if you offer a digital key and check in. So I got our card keys and we get in the room. It is hot. We lower the temp and realize the AC isn't working. My husband calls the desk and we are told there is nothing they could do and there weren't any other rooms our size available. Thankfully the ceiling fan worked. I called for linens for the pull out sofa bed our son was going to use since the linen bag only had a pillow in it. The front desk person said she would bring it down 30 minutes later. We said fine. 30 minutes went by and no linens so my husband went to the front desk and we were told she couldn't get linens until the new person came on board for their shift at 10:15. It was past 10:15. We waited for 30 minutes and no one ever came. We took the flat sheet off of one of the bed and the top quilt off of the other and made the bed as best we could. The only redeeming thing was the breakfast. It had decent eggs, beef for breakfast tacos, good potatoes, and fruit. It was the only redeeming thing about this stay, and we have stayed at a lot of Hilton branded hotels.
