I stayed here for 4 nights for a work conference. The hotel and meeting spaces were absolutely beautiful. The views were amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and modern. The robe and slippers were a nice touch! The restaurants and bar were a tad expensive but that's what I expect in downtown and at a high-end hotel. However, the food was fantastic and had many options! Would definitely stay here again!

On the third annual Daddy/Daughter ski trip. We decided to stay in SLC to help acclimate to the altitude. Hyatt Regency Downtown is an Excellent hotel with great staff. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport, conveniently located downtown SLC, and close to the slopes for skiing.

Hyatt Regency SLC is a fantastic hotel! The location is great, right next to the Salt Palace, City Creek, Capital Theater, and Temple Square. The staff was super helpful and my wife and I enjoyed the hotel and overall experience. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at the Hyatt in Salt Lake City, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. The Club Lounge was a great perk, offering us complimentary breakfast at Salt Republic during our visit. The breakfast was outstanding—definitely a highlight of our stay.
Every interaction with the staff was warm and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. We’re already considering making this an annual tradition. As California residents, we love visiting Utah, and the Hyatt has become a key part of our trips. Highly recommend!

For a "Regency" level hotel, this place is pathetic. The rooms are drab, small and uncomfortable and mine wasn't clean (they did correct it). I can understand, since its attached to a convention center, that a bare-bones efficient room might be optimal for convention uses, but for luxury and opulence, well, this isn't it. The staff is poorly trained, and most don't understand the nuances of English. Additionally, the "convenience" store pricing is so outrageous its alarming ($6 for water). Personally, I will NEVER stay here again.
