Renovated and CLEAN! Breakfast is back!! The hotel and staff are friendly and welcoming. GREAT location for all those runners out there, and the breakfast was great! It’s been so long since I have had a good breakfast since COVID took so many amenities away. Thanks to the Hyatt Place staff for taking such great care of my stay. And the hotels renovation looks SO GOOD!

I like Hyatt Place because they seem to care about sleep--the rooms are dark and quiet, with even the peepholes covered.
Hyatt Places are also great for families because you are not on top of each other.
This particular HP was within a five minute walk of Fleming's Steak House (like Ruth's Chris) and a Crown Burger restaurant. I had never tried either and liked both.

Great stay. Nice employees. Would stay again. Accommodated my family when we needed conjoining rooms. Always told us to have fun on our day trips when we left. Always helped get are room clean when we needed.

Other than no USB ports for charging USB devices, everything is awesome and the staff is excellent. I would recommend staying to anyone that I know who visits Salt Lake City. Excellent Place to Stay!.

Hubby and I stayed here for two nights. When we got to our room we found left over pizza in the refrigerator and a wastebasket that hadn't been emptied. We alerted staff and they offered to move us to a different room. We declined since we had started unpacking before we noticed this. Staff came right up and took those items out.
The free breakfast was ok. There were hot and cold items. On the second morning I got there a little later (8:15) and they were out of items. Also probably because of COVID but hot items were served in heavy duty plastic containers. It seems quite a waste to use those and especially since they weren't being recycled. I wonder if instead the staff could serve these items and elimate the plastic.
Our beds were comfy but the bathtub drained away very, very slowly. There is a small pool and hottub outside.
We were only able to turn the AC down to 66 degrees. I like to sleep cooler but that was not an option.
Parking is $10 a night.
Thanks for completing our survey. I would like to apologize for the way you found the room when you arrived. Our guest should never find a room like that. I will be following up with my staff. Regarding your comment about food containers, I agree 100% so does Hyatt. Prior to COVID 19 our hotel and every Hyatt Place had zero plastic. All our in-room and food and beverage was served on plates glasses and silverware. I am hopeful we will return to that sooner than later. I will also make sure our staff looks at the drain in your room. I truly appreciate your feedback. I hope you have a wonderful summer.
