Owner description: Cannon Hall Farm is a large, family run farm attraction. Sitting in the rolling Pennine foothills, it's home to hundreds of animals, waiting to welcome you to a world of animal magic. Home to one of the biggest and best equipped playgrounds in the north of England and the largest tube maze in Europe our adventure playground is one of the biggest and best in the north of England. The farm shop is famous for home produced beef, pork, lamb and a huge variety of sausages. Our on site bakery produces award winning pies and delicious artisan bread every morning. The tearoom serves delicious home cooked food. New for 2015, The Hungry Llama indoor play and restaurant adds a great indoor option with some dramatic slides and innovative play features to a day that's already packed with fun. Visited today with our 3year old and 13month old for the Easter eggstravaganza. This was extremely entertaining especially as they got my husband to participate and that's his worst nightmare!
The farm is a working farm so plenty of animals to see. It's lambing season so there's every chance of seeing a lamb be born. We just missed one. Everyone around the farm is extremely friendly and plenty to keep the kids occupied - various playframes. Opportunity to handle animals. The farm was very clean and reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again.

We have been to this wonderful farm many times and it gets better every time we visit. There is so much to do for all the family, we took children ageing from 7 to 13 and everyone including the adults were entertained all day. We arrived at 10 and left at 5.30! It was a beautiful day so it was busy but it was never too crowded and we didn't have to queue for anything. The car park was well organised and the whole place was really clean and well run. The highlight was seeing lambs being born and talking to farmer David and Robert as they worked delivering lambs, feeding lambs and organising the new arrivals in their pens. There are meerkats, piglets, goat kids, cows, donkeys, llamas and alpacas as well as a gorgeous shire horse. There is even a reptile house now which is worth seeing just front the amazing ant rope. We went on the tractor ride, the kids spent time in the indoor and outdoor play areas and had great fun. Just one minor thing I would change is the temporary indoor picnic area which is much too small and cramped for the amount of people who wanted to use it. Overall though we can highly recommend Cannon Hall farm as the best farm attraction we've been to, we will be back again soon.

Overall a good experience, but feel that the price going from just over £8 to nearly £12 in 2 years is not acceptable. If one goes after 3.30 pm then the price is £3 so that is a saving grace. The staff are all very nice though and Cannon Hall itself is always a pleasant trip. We enjoyed the table tennis when we went.

Best day out ever! We have done the gardens years ago but never the farm due to cost. Well, I stand corrected. This attraction is well worth the expense. We have never stayed so long at an attraction as there is so much to see and do! Lots of excellent play areas too! An incredible main restaurant serving outstanding food (The White Bull). The Easter attraction was ace! My Son enjoyed it so much he wanted to do it again!! The reptile house is well worth a visit. Don’t forget to look upwards and see the ant journey! This blew me away. Incredible! We will be back very, very soon! X

Visited whilst looking after my two nephews aged 6 and 4' auntie and uncle in late fifties!
We played the full price which gave us access to every attraction, a full time table is issued so you can catch all the sheep racing, ferret racing and the chariots talks. The staff a friendly and knowledgeable, the guy on the tractor ride was brilliant and should do stand up! The indoor and outdoor play areas are vast with plenty of room for everybody. Although it was a showery day we managed to dodge the showers. If you want a decent meal go to the larger restaurant as the one in the play gym serves basic food. Get the kids to wear wellies as it is a working farm with lots of mud around . The bonus for me was the farm shop which sell the farms own meat and other goodies .
