Owner description: Cannon Hall Farm is a large, family run farm attraction. Sitting in the rolling Pennine foothills, it's home to hundreds of animals, waiting to welcome you to a world of animal magic. Home to one of the biggest and best equipped playgrounds in the north of England and the largest tube maze in Europe our adventure playground is one of the biggest and best in the north of England. Really beautiful grounds surrounding Cannon Hall seem to roll on into the distance, I wish we would have brought a picnic as it seems to lend itself to this, especially with such large old trees dotted everywhere. I was equally impressed with the farm (it does cost to get into this attraction) with lots of animals to see and even sheep racing (short but hilarious). The goats were my favourites as they really loved being petted. The only thing that was a shame was the small animals looked very uncomfortable (smaller sheds were overwhelmingly hot and stuffy) I was equally impressed that visitors could view the hall/museum free of charge, the rooms that are furnished are lovely.
