Owner description: One of the seven natural wonders of the world.

We visited the arch by boat, then made the mile trek to the observation area. Sacred to the Navajo tribe so it’s not cool to walk under or climb on the arch. We observed from a distance, took pics and left. Very impressive.

We left in a 7:30am boat ride for a 2.5 hr ride in Lake Powell. Once to the boat dock at the bridge it is another 30 to 40 minutes of an easy hike to the Rainbow Bridge. Be sure to take the trail past the front to get a view from the far side as well. Very impressive.
The boat ride itself was nice going past so many different rock formations. They offered lemonade, water, Apple's and granola bars. Be sure you have water for the trail.

Loved visiting, we did not take a boat tour, we rented a boat, very difficult lake to navigate in, you need GPS APP on your phone at minimum, well worth the very expensive boat rental $$450 per day (small pontoon boat)

This little hike is quick and easy as a stop from a day of boating. About 1/2 mile is all out to the Arch and great photo ops.

We were able to have seats on the upper deck at the front which afforded incredible views however dress accordingly for the season. It's very cool in the mornings in October and add that to being in water - nearly everyone else went below about 30 min into the trip. Our captain was very informative and had lots of books to share chronicling the canyon before, during and after filling the dam. Add that to the headphones with additional information and you had a complete appreciation for what you are experiencing. Our deck hand Arianna was also delightful and helpful. The hike to the bridge is relatively short (~1mi) - wear sneaker or hiking shoes. Never fails there are tourists in inappropriate footwear. The entire tour takes about 6 hrs given that it takes 2 hr to get to the bridge. Make sure to take snacks as they provide water, lemonade and coffee. It's worth the money to experience this. We had great people to work with throughout from start to finish.
