We were able to have seats on the upper deck at the front which afforded incredible views however dress accordingly for the season. It's very cool in the mornings in October and add that to being in water - nearly everyone else went below about 30 min into the trip. Our captain was very informative and had lots of books to share chronicling the canyon before, during and after filling the dam. Add that to the headphones with additional information and you had a complete appreciation for what you are experiencing. Our deck hand Arianna was also delightful and helpful. The hike to the bridge is relatively short (~1mi) - wear sneaker or hiking shoes. Never fails there are tourists in inappropriate footwear. The entire tour takes about 6 hrs given that it takes 2 hr to get to the bridge. Make sure to take snacks as they provide water, lemonade and coffee. It's worth the money to experience this. We had great people to work with throughout from start to finish.

We visited on an October Wednesday, had no problem finding a spot at the dock with our rented houseboat. The walk to the arch was short and pleasant. The arch itself was very pretty. Well worth visiting.

We took a wonderful boat ride to the rainbow bridge. The scenery along the way was great. The hike to the site is pretty easy, there is a slight uphill stretch but it is rather short. There are stops along the way to view the bridge without going the entire way. For a different view you can hike a bit further and see the back. This part of the hike I has more elevation change and you cross a large rock, but it is otherwise not difficult. Well worth the boat ride.

We took the boat your from Wahweap marina run by NPS. Initial impression matter by extremely surly chech-in clerk. The rise was supposed to end at 1:30, but they had a sign that due to low water and a longer route, we wouldn't be back until 2:30. I accepted this delay as inevitable in my tightly packed schedule. Turns out they could easily have been on time without the unannounced and unnecessary 30 minute stop for ice cream in the dangling rope marina clearly in cahoots with your company. As it was, we didn't get back until 3pm.
the your itself was amazing and not to be missed. Very informative head phone presentation about the area along with the affable captain's commentery. Scenery along the way was awe-inducing. Odors from tge goat's latrine were not. Shouldn't there be better toilet technology by now?
The bike to the bridge was easy, and there was an informative ranger by the bridge. Aftrrwards, everyone consumed lunch that you have to bring in yourself, although drinks on board. Incredible sight, worth the trip, but wish they had avoided the ice cream stop and shortened an otherwise long day.

One of the best full-day trips I have ever taken. The views along every part of the 50-mile boat trip are spectacular. The boat, from Lake Powell Marina, was comfortable and had free water bottles/snacks on board. Managed to get a lot of great video footage.

The bridge itself is stunning. Even in the 105F heat. A very special place, made all the better by Ursula, the First Mate, and a Park Ranger on site both of whom had great information. A big thankyou to Captain Bob too who did a great job.

You MUST do this trip if you are in the area.
