Owner description: Georgia Aquarium is the world's most magical aquarium. Situated near Centennial Olympic Park and World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta,Georgia, Georgia Aquarium offers its guests an experience like no other. Across six separate galleries, with more than 70 amazing habitats, 10 million gallons of water and thousands of species of marine animals, guests will marvel at, learn about and come to better understand such majestic aquatic animals as whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, beluga whales, sea otters, African penguins and thousands of species of exotic fish and other animals. The spectacular AT&T Dolphin Tales show combines incredible natural animal behaviors with dynamic theatrics, a Broadway-inspired musical score and a compelling story, which together underscore the connection between humans and the animal world. The animated "Deepo's Undersea 3D Wondershow," for all ages, tells an entertaining but important story about conserving and protecting animals and their natural environment. Cafe Aquaria offers delicious sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta and delectable desserts. Two gift shops give visitors the chance to take home a treasured collectible. Special animal encounter programs offer the chance to go behind the scenes and come face-to-face with dolphins, sea otters and penguins. Guests can even swim or dive with whale sharks and manta rays in the world's largest aquarium habitat (at 6.3 Million gallons), Ocean Voyager built by the Home Depot. And an onsite parking deck immediately adjacent to the aquarium means quick, easy-to-find and affordable parking.

We went as early birds during spring break and it was a breeze seeing everything! The tanks are amazing and the dolphin show is a must see. The dolphin staff is an amazing team and the show will not disappoint unless you don’t heed their warning and chose to sit in rows 1-10.
The only reason that I did give this a five star is because of the food and drink prices. Ridiculous!

Although we live only 45 minutes away we haven't been in years so decided to take the kids during spring break. Took advantage of the after 4pm and Mommy&me specials.. but still expensive @ almost $120 for 4 of us and prepaid parking. I expected large crowds and there was, to be expected during a peak week, but I do feel like there should be a cap on how many people are let in. We havent been since the dolphin and sea lion shows have been added so we wanted to see those 1st thing. We thought we had missed the sea lions and were told it was about to start so they rushed us in and there were only a few seats left (some are limited view and front seats can get wet in this show). It was cute and short which worked well for my 3yr old. Afterwards we rushed over to the dolphins, with 30 minutes to go, I didnt expect the dolphin show area to be so much larger than the sea lions (soo many seats!) but waiting for the show to start was very hard with young kids and they literally crammed as many people that would fit in the theatre, even making people move to combine empty seats! My 3yr old of course had to potty 2 minutes in so him and I left and it was an easy exit and we enjoyed some other tanks while waiting for the show to finish. Once the show let out it was extremely crowded! Not sure if we got to see everything but we did enjoy what we did see.

We visited during spring break, and it was very busy. There was a line for everything. With very young children the waiting was difficult. It was also expensive (admission of $148 for two adults and two young children. Also, there was $12 parking). When we got through the lines to see the aquarium tanks, they were stunning!

We have been to many many large aquariums and this one was th best. Better than New Orleans, Monterey, Baltimore and others. Now we liked all of them which makes this one in Georgia even more special. We spent over 5 hours with our two grandkids 4 and 10 and they had blast. the place is well designed, and well staffed. Great place well worth the money.. Will return

This place is AMAZING! Such a diversity of animals and habitats! The ocean one with the large display was amazing. The 4-D Sharks movie was really cool. All the animals looked healthy and like there was plenty of room for them. My only hesitation from giving it five stars is the layout. I thought that it seemed very congested. The staff was so informative and patient. You can tell the people there love their jobs!
