The farmhouse inn has quickly become one of our top B&B’s in VT. Hosts Tory and Barry made us feel right at home, and Tilley the cat gave a warm welcome too. We sat down to a delicious homemade breakfast and passed the time in conversation with our hosts and other guests. Snowshoeing right out the back door, with plenty of dining and entertainment choices minutes away, I wish we had more time here. The inn is just outside of town, so you’ll have a peaceful nights sleep, and wake up ready to enjoy your day. We are looking forward to returning again in the summer to enjoy more of this gem in VT

Upon arrival you will be greeted by happy hens running around the property and the sight of a big gorgeous red barn, it doesn’t get more quintessential New England than this. The hosts, Barry and Tory are very welcoming and accommodating, making you feel at home right away. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were better than my own at home. Tory prepares breakfast every morning that will keep you full through a 3 hour hike up the green mountains (true story). Each morning was different and insanely delicious. Seriously if nothing else, come for the breakfast. Like some of the other reviews here mentioned, everything has a personal touch, from the hens that lay the eggs you will enjoy for breakfast, to the maple syrup tapped from their own trees. We walked through the barn, where they started hosting weddings two years ago and were taken aback by the beauty and energy in the space. We made jokes about coming back here to get married one day. I’m so glad we ended up finding this gem and had an incredible weekend getaway.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Riverview and it was magnificent.

When choosing a bed and breakfast destination, you want to do as much research as possible so that you can try and ensure that you will have a most comfortable and relaxing time, including a great nights sleep and a fulfilling and delicious breakfast each morning.Search no further, you have found your destination in Woodstock, Vermont.
The Farmhouse Inn delivers!
The town of Woodstock is absolutely charming and is every bit as quintessential New England as you could possibly get. Equally charming and every bit as breathtaking is entering the driveway at the Farmhouse Inn and viewing this wonderfully enormous classic red barn welcoming you to Vermont country. The hosts, Barry and Tory are super friendly and accommodating, making you feel welcomed and at home right away. If you like your peace and quiet, you will find no better place than this.
The property is enormous with nice paths to walk on with amazing views of the hills.
Make sure to take the barn tour as it is fascinating to witness the history up close and personal.
Hang out with the chickens and also their enchanting and regal horse,Yuma.
Tory whips up a mean breakfast which is very hearty, tasty and quite satisfying.
The beds are very comfortable and the rooms spacious.
You will be extremely satisfied that you chose the Farmhouse Inn as your bed and breakfast destination.

Farmhouse Inn is a special place--not just because of the scenery and spacious guest rooms. Hosts Tory and Barry are welcoming and provide a calm, warm energy. They invited our daughters to feed the chickens, visit the horse, and play with their dog and cat. This was the best weekend! We were there for our niece's wedding. It was a perfect venue. In addition, the breakfast was delicious, and the homemade marshmallows for the hot chocolate hit the spot. We will definitely return!

This inn was impeccably maintained and absolutely charming in every respect. The farm, the chickens, the apples, the barn, the Super comfortable room, the homemade breakfast, EVERYTHING added to the ambiance. Tori and Barry are the perfect hosts. We felt comfortable from the moment we stepped inside. And they were enjoyable to be around. Couldn't do enough for us! If you go to sleep before 10 p.m. and like the windows open, request a room less susceptible to highway noise. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night. We will be back at the first opportunity for an extended stay.
