Food tasted like it was just caught. It was delicious. The use of sage was genius. I paired my trout with chardonnay. This restaurant includes tipping in your check, which I found helpful. My husband had the fish and chips and wow, that batter was amazing.

A great place to have brunch. We started with the dungeness crab and bay shrimp tater tots. It’s filling dish. We then moved on to the equally good steamed tequila-lime Mediterranean mussels. This is an excellent dish to dip your bread - savory sauce.

One of us had the Alaskan Razor Clam Chowder which I atsted and was ex cellent. It had some bacon base, but the bowl was full and just the right temperature. Eggs Cordova is an excellent choice if you want roasted veggies. And a warning, the serving is huge! The fish and chips was, as expected, just ordinary.

The place’s “killer app” is the grilled WA Hanger Steak. Don;t miss this.

We walked all over Seattle on a busy Saturday morning searching for a good brunch location - and were happy to find an open table at Steelhead Diner. The service is friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is calm despite the restaurant being busy. The smoked applewood bacon hash with poached eggs, broccoli, and a grainy mustard sauce was superb. My son had the steak and eggs - which was plated in such a beautiful way that our neighboring diner tried changing his order once he saw the meal.

We had a wonderful lunch here. We sat out on the patio and listened to live music down below. The chowder here was good. Mia did a great job serving us.

Yes Pike place is a tourist trap but Pike place also offers a wide range of eateries. Went looking for a convenient restaurant and came across the Steelhead Diner (across from Sur le Table) in the Pike place market. Excellent service, excellent food and well priced.
Very good selection of food from mac and cheese for kids, early bird special, house burger and fish. some really great appetizers, and salads. good wine list and I could go on. Very enjoyable dinner
