This majestic rock is an imposing hill next to the club mahindra resort. we started the ascent at around 7 45. It is a steep climb but quite safe. It will take around 50 mins to an hour to climb and half of that time to get down if you are fit. Take your time to get up and njoy the view. During monsoon i imagine the view will be great. but the resort does not undertake trekking activity during monsoon. There is water available at the top incase you run out.

great place to visit. Approximately 2 hrs trek. Really enjoyable if you visit in monsoon. Avoid weekends if you want a real peace. t base very reasonable hotels for lunch. Upto me, there is no hotel on the top. So make sure you carry some items to eat.

Quite a steep climb to this ancient fort which still stands imposing at a considerable height on the Western Ghats. It is also referred to as the Kathin Ghat due to the difficulty in ascending it. Trekkers and mountain climbers paradise. The place can get quite crowded during the monsoons as the view from here is just amazing.
