When we first saw this Aquarium in Gatlinburg as "Ripley's," we wondered whether it would be a "believe it or not" type of place. How surprised we were to experience one of the most beautiful Aquariums we have visited in America. The aquatic displays were tasteful and beautiful and we were pleased to be able to take such nice photographs of our visit. The jelly fish were especially awesome and we have recommended a visit to many of our friends. In short, this "Ripley's" is a "Believe It" place! We loved it.

We took our kids here and they had an amazing time. They loved the aquarium, playground and just when they though it was over the pigeons on the way out.

We have been to aquarium before and come every 4 years. We were excited to see the Shipwrecked display. Upon getting to it, we were a little disappointed in it and thought there’d be more displays of artifacts or replica artifacts. Jellyfish touch station was cool to do. Seeing the shark tank and walking underneath is always the best part of the visit. It was very busy. First coming in to initial display is congested and frustrating to navigate when busy. We recommend visiting, and doing a package if you do other Ripley’s things for best deal. We wish the Believe It or Not was open and would have done it too.

This aquarium has plenty to offer the kids. Great sights to see along with games or interactive activities. My kids love the tunnel, they like to watch the fish swim above. Especially the shark! We haven't done the glass bottom boat yet but it's on the list for next time.

Unfortunately we went during spring break and the place was jam packed, which made it difficult to see many of the exhibits. Definitely get your tickets ahead of time to avoid long lines at the ticket counter. The food court food was surprisingly good and fast but there is not a lot of seating.
