This is a comfortable, well-maintained, and friendly place to stay in Brooklyn. Near a subway station, it's a good jumping off point for anywhere in NYC. The hosts provided a nice full breakfast each day and recommended nearby eateries for dinner. When we return for our next visit, the host promised me a concert on his steel drum!

thank you for your awesome review. Yes you will get what I promised. The only reason you did not get it while you were here is the instrument was placed in the storage forthe Christmas. Next visit it will be on display.

We had a great stay here to visit NYC. It is very convenient to the subway and the hosts are warm and inviting. The rooms are spacious, clean and very quiet. Good amenities, but be somewhat careful about bathrooms. Some share a bathroom and some have personal bath. Breakfast was great each day with and we had good conversation with the other guests.

thank you for your review, We have to adjust your statement about sharing bathrooms. Because of the Coivid -19 situation we have instituted a no sharing of bathroom policy between guest that is not related.So when one of the rooms that is supposed to share a bathroom is booked the other one is blocked automatically so no one has access to book it.Therefore it becomes a private bathroom to the guest. However we will allow a family of four who is interested in booking the two rooms together share the bathroom upon request by them.
We hope this help to clear up any misconception about bathroom sharing.

I came to NYC for few nights and the hotel I chose was not good, I came across this place for half the price and glad I did! Rooms were spacious and clean! Couldn’t even hear other guests Will definitely come back!

This is a fantastic bed and breakfast, in a nice section of Brooklyn, right near the south side of Prospect Park. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the hosts are friendly and warm, making for an excellent, very relaxed and fun overall experience.
We chose to stay here for a long weekend while we were in town for a wedding. The hosts were kind and accommodating, and truly made us feel welcome. Our room (Hibiscus) was both comfortable and tasteful, and the breakfasts were well-sized to get us going in the morning without filling us up and causing us to go right back to bed.
The location is fantastic, as well. It's quite close to both train and bus stops, not to mention the wonderful park and the neighborhood itself.
