If you don't look, you will miss this quaint little place. We went on New Year's Eve, it wasn't crowed but the atmosphere was fun. The bartender was very engaging and personal. So much so, that he treated us to some bagpipe music, even though it was his first time. Now onto the review. The bar and food are separate. You have to order the food at a separate counter and order your drinks from the bar across the hall. The food was great and the portions reasonable. We had the black Angus brisket with the burnt ends baked beans. The prices are fair considering we were in NY. The brisket was well done, just enough fat, tender and cooked all the way through. The baked beans were just about perfect. We also treated ourselves to the cornbread which was as expected for cornbread. All in all, a very pleasant experience in a tucked away part of Brooklyn. A must visit just for the atmosphere and some good bbq.
